What is Color My Voice?
Mission & Vision
Color My Voice is a youth-led creative health initiative that uses storytelling, art, and bilingual children’s books to help children express their emotions, explore their identities, and feel heard.

Born from a belief that creativity can be a tool for healing, the project brings expressive, culturally accessible resources to kids who may struggle with words alone. Whether navigating trauma, displacement, or big feelings he or she doesn't understand yet, every child deserves a safe way to share their inner world.

Our books, like Color Your World, are designed to meet children where they are. They blend illustration, imagination, and reflection to nurture emotional wellness and self-understanding.
We believe a child’s voice doesn’t need to be loud to matter. Sometimes, it begins with a crayon.

Our Books
Color Your World /Colorea Tu Mundo
A bilingual creative book for emotional expression and healing.

This book encourages children to explore their feelings through drawing and color. There are no borders, outlines, or restrictions; only room to create, thoughtful prompts, and a few illustrated friends along the way. Designed to foster creative expression, it gently guides kids through themes of emotion, empathy, problem-solving, and resilience, ultimately offering space to reflect, imagine, and be heard.
Written in both English and Spanish, Color Your World creates a bridge between art and emotional well-being for children of diverse backgrounds.

First Aid Basics
A guide to first aid care for kids and families.​

Before Color Your World, we created First Aid Basics. Created for children and families with limited access to health education, this book offers clear, friendly guidance on responding to injuries, allergies, and emergencies.
Though more practical than expressive, it laid the foundation for what came next: helping me see the power of accessible, visual tools to educate, connect, and empower.
Distributed to Vietnam and Peru, it has reached children in schools and underserved communities, where medical information is often hard to come by.
